Gee it's been a long time since I've logged in! I'm going to make more of an effort to log in more and post. LiveJournal does have one advantage that you don't really see on my myspace: I actually blog here and you can get to know me, as a person, and get deep into my thoughts. Dun..dun...dunnn.
Anywho, thanks to all of you who added me to your freinds list. You are now added back.
I've been extremely busy these days, as you can imagine.
This month, though, I am proud to say is the 1 year anniversary of my debut book, "Ugly Eliza and the Sunken Ship". It was relreased May 20, 2008. My, does how 1 year fly by! Since it's been released, I've had the honor of traveling to schools, doing radio interviews, meeting and networking with celebrities and other writers.
I've kind of put promoting on the back-burner just a bit because I'm working on my new book, "Trailer Park Tales", which is due out spring 2010.
"TPT" isn't for kids (which according to personal feedback the last year on "Ugly Eliza", neither is "Ugly Eliza"). "TPT" is a collection of stories from the south that will have you dying of laughter. I've included sex, inbreds, fights, laying up the the bed, breeding possums, trailers and toothless hillbillies.
My new default picture is the cover of the book. The book itself isn't anywhere near print just yet, you know how it is, writing, editing, blah blah blah.
I didn't create this journal to talk about how great I am, (I just realized now that I'm wrapping up this entry, I do sound full of myself- not intended!).
Okay, so now I'm on a coffee run and I'm going to check out YOUR pages.
